20 Questions with Michael K. Falciani

As avid readers, we at Cursed Dragon Ship Publishing have grown bored with the questions in “respectable” interviews. What about the really important ones, like what is their least favorite chore or their favorite flavor of ice cream? This week we’ve booked Michael K. Falciani.

Michael K. Falciani was born and raised in upstate New York. He served nine years in the US Army Reserve and the National Guard retiring from the service at the ripe old age of 25. He graduated with his bachelor’s degree in education and has been teaching for the last 22 years.

An avid reader in his youth, Michael turned his hand to writing and has never looked back. He is currently working on a six-book epic fantasy series titled, The Raven and the Crow. He has completed the first two books of the series. The first, Dark Storm Rising, is a finalist for the audiobook of the year at the Imadjinn Awards this summer.  The second book, The Gray Throne, is a Dragon Con nominee for best fantasy novel of the year.  Michael has also completed a dwarven steampunk novel, The Dwarves of Rahm: Omens of War, slated to come out this Autumn.  He has also turned his hand to urban fantasy. His short story, “Hell Hath No Fury,” has been published in best anthology of the year finalist, It Came From the Trailer Park.

When Michael isn’t perseverating on imaginary battles or political intrigue, he enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, running, and doing almost any physical activity that gets his blood pumping. He plans on continuing his passion for writing for as long as he can.
