A Good Running Away
by Kevin Pettway
If the enemies of your enemies are still your enemies, how do you know who your friends are?
Smart-mouthed Keane and feared-warrior Sarah escape the mercenaries of Wallace’s Company to start somewhere fresh, where no one is trying to kill them. Keane steals the company’s wages in return for his attempted murder, and Sarah agrees to the plan.
An easy to read book with a nice flow. Good characters with a great friendship chemistry between the two main characters. I personally like the bad guy myself. The chapters are nice potato chip sized for those who only have small blocks of time to read before they have to put the book down till the next bracket of reading time. I enjoyed the book and am looking forward to the next one. — SBWinFL
Kevin Pettway knows his way around a mercenary camp! Fun details and just the right blend of humor and plotting. Well done. This is my first read by this author, and I’d read him again. Thumbs up!! Entertained. — L. A. Selby
About the Author: Kevin Pettway
Kevin Pettway is a long-time fan of good fantasy as well as a smartass. He has brought together these two burning passions to create the Misplaced Mercenaries series, the first of which you now hold in your hand. Or are reading digitally. No one is telling you how to live.
Kevin lives in Florida with his wife of twenty-six years and two ridonkulously cuddly dogs, where too much of his time is spent wondering if he will someday be introduced to the world as “Florida Man.”
